Congressional candidate Jay Webber has announced the first members of his campaign finance committee, including former Rep. Michael Ferguson and Vincent Tufariello, a member of Chris Christie’s national finance team during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Webber, a five-term Assemblyman, will also have Thomas Healey, Sean Flanagan, Sean Griffith, John Tierney, Lisa LoBiondo, Michael Helmer and Steven Loeb helping him raise money in his bid for the 11th district seat being vacated by Rodney Frelinghuysen. The group has raised funds for Christie, Frelinghuysen, Ferguson and other grassroots organizations.
“I greatly appreciate the commitment and support of these dedicated and resourceful friends,” said Webber. “Every day we are building a campaign to win an election that is so important to our country and its citizens.”
Webber is the first candidate to announce a full-fledged fundraising group.
