The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority is expected to consider a resolution today that will give the $225,000-a-year President and CEO job to former Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto. The issue is on the agenda for today’s executive session.
Prieto sought the job, now held by Wayne Hasenbalg, a former deputy chief of staff to Gov. Chris Christie, as a consolation prize after the Assembly Democratic caucus decided to dump him as Speaker.
Antonio Suarez, the brother of Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, is expected to replace him in the State Assembly.
