Sandra Love, ex-mayor, legislator, dies

By David Wildstein, February 14 2018 1:19 pm

Sandra Love, who served as an Assemblywoman and as mayor of Gloucester Township, passed away last night after a long illness.  She was 72.

She also served as Co-Chair of the Camden County Democratic Committee after George Norcross stepped down.

Love was the Mayor from 1994 to 2006.  She was elected to the Assembly in 2007, after David Mayer decided not to seek re-election to the 4th legislative district seat.

In the Assembly, Love served on the Commerce and Economic Development Committee and the Senior Services Committee.  Citing health issues, she did not seek re-election to a second term in 2009.

Love had been in a coma since December 16.

“Sandi dedicated a large portion of her life to public service.  She served 12 years as Mayor of Gloucester Township and one term in the New Jersey General Assembly, serving the 4th Legislative District.  Sandi was a tireless advocate for those she represented during her public service, always bringing a kind and caring voice to the issues she encountered,” State Sen. Fred Madden, Assemblyman Paul Moriarty and Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera said in a joint statement.  ““Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Al; sons Jeffrey and Jason and her wonderful grandchildren, Cordelia, Sophia, Ian and August.  We wish her family all the best during this difficult time.  Please keep them in your prayers.”

The funeral is Friday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a family eulogy at 8:30. The location is Earle Funeral Home, 122 West Church Street in Blackwood.

  3. She raised our taxes to an all time high. Sandra Love really did hurt a lot of people in South Jersey. She will NOT be missed

  4. She tried to destroy my friends life and mine. Sandy Love call Norcross to orchestrate firings and hardships in innocent people. I remember when Cindy Hatton was Mayor after Sandy Love left office and took Mayor Mayer’s position in the Assembly. Both Sandy Love and her gossip friend Judy Calabrese wished Hatton dead when she was sick. Looks like Karma came back on Sandy Love and those wishes boomeranged back on Love. She didn’t even see 73 years old because she was so Damn Cruel. Sandy Love was a mean person full of vengeance and hate. All she did was plot how to
Reek havoc in the lives of people who beat her in elections or were more popular with seniors.

Love was a jealous bitter woman. Love was angered because she was not endorsed by the Inquire and Courier post, SO she had her friend George Norcross buy the newspapers. He acquired the sellout paper Courier Post and had the editor Alan Guether Fired. Love hated Guenther because he often reported about her poor management and racist views of the township. Norcross has several editors relocated from the Courier Post and he took control.
Norcross now controls content in the Courier Post/Gannett where he uses his masked companies to optimize negative stories he creates.

Lewis Katz made sure Norcross lost the bid for the Inquire

Norcross lost the bid to get Inquire to Lewis Katz who saw how Norcross and his daughter Lexie were maliciously redirecting the Inquires websites to trashy buzzfeed stories. It was sinister.

Norcross has several digital media start ups he uses they are tied into the UK, russian troll sites and Facebook shares. It’s under investigation
