Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden) has landed a spit on the new Joint Select Committee on the Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans.
The bi-partisan panel, created earlier this month as part of the budget compromise, will review proposals to create a federal loan program for multiemployer pension funds. Norcross was a co-sponsor of the bill.
Norcross is one of sixteen members of the committee, which will include eight Senators and eight House members evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans.
