Geri Moon, a nurse and well-known advocate of health care issues, passed away on January 12 at age 76. She was a vice president of the New Jersey Hospital Association from 1987 to 2006 and was a longtime member of the New Jersey Federation of Democratic Women.
Former Point Pleasant Republican Municipal Chair Judith block died on February 2. She was 82. She is a former chief financial officer of Point Pleasant and served as school board treasurer and zoning board secretary. Her husband, the late Allan Block, had served as a Point Pleasant Councilman.
Peter Krochta, a former Manville Councilman and school board member who served as a member of the Somerset County Board of Elections, passed away on January 14. He was 88.
