Today is Phil Murphy’s 31st day in office. The governor had a good day by recognizing that the public wants a quick fix to some of the New Jersey Transit issues and did well by borrowing twenty extra trains from the Republican governor of Maryland. Still the possibility that New Jersey Transit trains might be banned from rail tunnels to New York City at the end of 2018 presents a potential crisis for the Murphy administration.
