CNN senior political analyst David Gergen will headline a fundraiser for congressional candidate Josh Welle on March 6. Welle is seeking the Democratic nomination in the 4th district.
Gergen held White House staff positions under Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. The incumbent in that district is Christopher Smith, who was first elected in 1980.
