Freeholder faces ELEC complaint

By David Wildstein, February 21 2018 10:29 am

A five-count complaint alleging violations of state campaign finance laws was filed today against Sussex County Freeholder George Graham.

The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission says that Graham received some contributions that exceeded the legal limit — including one from Surrogate Gary Chiusano’s campaign committee — that he failed to report addresses of donors, and that he improperly transferred funds from his primary campaign to his general election account.

Graham has twenty days to respond.
