YouTube guy helping Kim

Geoff Ginter, a medical assistant from Pine Beach who became a YouTube sensation of sorts when he took on Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-Toms River) at a Town Hall meeting, is now fundraising for Democrat Andy Kim.

“Tens of millions of people watched my confrontation with Republican Congressman Tom MacArthur. But not only did Tom MacArthur ignore us — he led the charge for TrumpCare,” Ginter wrote. “His ‘MacArthur amendment’ gutted protections for those with preexisting conditions, making the bill just cruel enough to pass the GOP-controlled House.”

Ginter attacks MacArthur for being a pawn of the Trump agenda – a common theme for the mid-term elections – and accuses the two-term congressman of “throwing working families like mine” under the bus.

“No wonder President Trump threw MacArthur a lavish $800,000 fundraiser at his New Jersey golf course, Ginter said.

Ginter is backing Kim, a former Obama White House staffer making his first bid for pubic office.

“Andy has spent a lifetime looking for ways to serve. He is both remarkably kind and fiercely passionate for what he believes in: universal health care, getting big money out of politics, and putting people before partisanship,” Ginter wrote.
