Welle holding Town Hall Meeting

By David Wildstein, January 29 2018 7:04 pm

Democratic Congressional candidate Josh Welle will hold a town hall meeting in Neptune on this weekend. The Navy veteran is in a three-way primary to take on Rep. Chris Smith (R-Hamilton), a nineteen-term incumbent.

“It’s time for the people of the 4th District to have a Congressman who listens as well as leads. With a new Governor in office, it’s clear that New Jersey is ready to turn the page on old ideas and start a new chapter in innovation and potential,” said Welle.  “All are welcome to come talk to me on Saturday morning about what concerns them in their district.”

Welle has already won some endorsements from national policy makers and local party leaders, including former U.S. Secretary of the Navy Richard Danzig.

“I began this campaign in earnest by building trust with voters and listening to their needs,” Welle said.  “With my campaign manager Mike Bland’s help, we’ve built an amazing team, from grassroots volunteers to top-tier consultants and staffers.

The town hall will be at the Campus at Macedonia – Macedonia Baptist Church at 10AM Saturday.
