Murphy will decide Christie staff fate by Monday

By David Wildstein, January 12 2018 5:11 pm

Gov.-elect Phil Murphy’s transition team will take the weekend to decide whether to accept or reject letters of resignation from political appointees of outgoing Gov. Chris Christie.  In a letter to department heads, the Transition 2018 staff promised to make a final decision by the end of the day on Monday.  It should be noted that state offices are closed on Monday; if accepted, resignations would be effective at noon on Tuesday.
