Murphy picks Bryan as Press Secretary

By David Wildstein, January 11 2018 5:35 pm

Dan Bryan, the former Chief of Staff to Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, will serve as press secretary to Gov. Phil Murphy.

Bryan was with Zimmer during a national media frenzy in 2014, when the mayor accused Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno of threatening to withhold Hurricane Sandy relief funds unless she backed a politically charged development deal.

He worked for Zimmer from 2009 until 2015, and then for the Beckerman pubic relations firm.  He previously was part of the Hackensack University Medical Center communications staff.  Bryan was on the Murphy for Governor Communications team.
