Michele Brown named to psychiatric hospital board

Gov. Chris Christie filed 83 direct appointments today, including Michele Brown to the Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital Board of Trustees.

With less than a week left as Governor, Christie loaded up a bunch of state boards with staffers and allies.

Five Christie administration officials were named to the Ann Klein Forensic Center Board of Trustees: Commissioner of Children and Families Allison Blake, Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin, and former Christie staffers Rosemary Iannacone, Louis Goetting and Raymond Brandes.  A sixth seat went to former Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini (R-Monmouth).

Brandes was also named to the New Jersey Historical Records Advisory Board.

Joining Brown, who worked with Christie at the Justice Department and in the Governor’s office, on the Greystone board are Christie Chief Counsel Jim DiGiulo, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, former Christie Deputy Chief of Staff Wayne Hasenbalg, former Assistant Counsel Peter Simon, Morris Township Committeeman Bruce Sisler.

Headed to the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital Board of Trustees are Christie staffers Melissa Orsen, Amanda DePalma, Ryan Goodwin, David Reiner and Jennifer Duffy.  He also named Dr. Susan Rubino, the wife of the Summit Council President.

Three Christie staffers, Brian Toro, Ryan Windels and Brian Murray, were named to the Youth Correctional Institution Complex Board of Trustees.

Wells Winegar, who worked on Christie’s advance staff, is now a member of the State Board of Examiners of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Contractors.  Matt Spadacccini, a state official who worked on Christie’s 2009 campaign, is now a member of the State Board of Master Plumbers.

Authorities Unit Director John Spinello has landed a seat on the Clean Air Council.

Former Hoboken Councilwoman Beth Mason was named as the state appointee to the Hoboken Housing Authority.
