Lance attacked for “appeasing” Tweet

By David Wildstein, January 24 2018 10:27 pm

Rep. Leonard Lance (R-Clinton) received a lesson in foreign policy from a former Obama State Department official who wants to run against him.

Former Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Tom Malinowski used Twitter to let Lance know that “#ReleaseTheMemo is the #1 hashtag Russian influence operations are promoting today.”

He was referring to a Tweet where Lance replied “I have read and reviewed the four-page memo, support its release publicly and expect the House leadership to authorize a vote on releasing the memo to the public soon.”

“Is it meant to attack the integrity of the FBI & our intelligence community,” Malinowski asked.  “Why are you appeasing this instead of defending our country and institutions?”

  1. This liberal elitist carpetbagger isnt teaching anyone a lesson. I predict he doesnt finish in the Top 3 in the primary and that Lance is still in Congress this time next year.
