Today is Phil Murphy’s 14th day in office and his daily check plus grade is getting a little boring — but that’s what he deserves. He was able to get the Carpenters union to stand with him against Bill Mullen on his choice to run the EDA. And the governor may have flipped his position on tax breaks for Amazon, but politically he is smart not to pick a fight with the Mayor of Newark.
(PoliticsDW will give Murphy a grade every day — either a check, a check plus, a check minus, or an incomplete. He’ll get a letter grade every week. Last week, Murphy got an A.)
