New House race rankings by Sabato’s Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia Center for Politics leaves Frank LoBiondo’s open NJ-02 seat in the Toss-Up column, Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) and Leonard Lance in the Leans Republican, Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) as Likely Democrat, and Tom MacArthur (NJ-03) as Likely Republican.
That leaves the other seven seats – Democrats Donald Norcross, Frank Pallone, Bill Pascrell, Albio Sires, Donald Payne, Jr. and Bonnie Watson Coleman and Republican Christopher Smith – as safe bets for re-election.
